When I was trying to write this blog I just couldn’t for the life of me figure out what I should write about first.
I mean I own a firm that handles taxes and accounting but we also help people file immigration documents and create contracts. So I kept asking myself, should I start by writing about taxes or accounting? Or should I talk about how to setup a business and draft contracts? Or should I instead write about immigration first?
There were so many topics to choose from that I ended up procrastinating by default just because I couldn’t figure out what exactly I should start with. Until finally one day I just decided to sit down and write and this post, the first one, on this site is the result. In it I am going to talk about what future blog posts will contain, this is in a way a preview of what’s to come.
BUSINESS RULES & REGULATIONS— Will be another topic that we’ll be discussing in our future posts. We’ll talk about the impact that new and old laws & regulations have on businesses, as well as, on consumers. Every business from trucking companies to gas stations and grocery stores will eventually be discussed here and the impacts that local, state, and federal government policies will have on those businesses will also be discussed here. Our focus will be on small businesses in our articles, so you will very rarely see articles that discuss how Amazon or Google are affected, unless the laws in question affect them in addition to the small businesses and their owners.

TAXES— Taxes are the bread and butter of our firm and something we have plenty of experience in so you will see a lot of posts on ways to save on taxes and tips on what you might be able to do to reduce your tax bill. Since we handle both business and individual taxes, in this blog we’ll be discussing both types. We’ll also talk about how a new rule or regulation might save you money or force you to pay more in taxes. In addition we’ll also clarify some of the deductions that you might qualify for that you didn’t know about. There has been a lot of confusion about the new tax laws and regulations that were passed recently and we’ll hopefully shed some light on them so that you are better able to understand and follow them.
CONTRACTS- Are one of the most common legally binding documents you will come across in your everyday life, yet they remain a mystery to many. In our blogs discussing contracts we’ll talk about the common pitfalls to avoid when drafting a contract and what common traps you should look out for before signing one. While we won’t be able to talk about everything since Contract Law can be quite varied according to jurisdiction, we will hopefully discuss enough for you to recogonize when you are being scammed or making a mistake.

IMMIGRATION— Is one of the topics we’ll be discussing in future articles. We’ll be talking about the latest news that is taking place in immigration, including the newest government policies and how they’ll affect you and your families. Our mission is to simplify complex immigration issues so that they become easier for you to understand and also to predict the impact that those policies will have.
All of these topics and more will be covered in this blog. Our mission is to present complex issues to you in a way that they can be easily understood by the average person.
